Admins Boost Your Search ResultsWhat can I do as a WSA?
Pick page names that are content specific when you title them in the Custom page maker. And keep in mind all search engine's have slightly different criteria, but usually only the first 66 characters of a title really matter. Do not use catchy acronyms for yourself to remember, if the page is about cancer, make sure the title directly reflects that. Fill out the optional Meta Tag area. You can make one generic meta area for the whole website or you can do it page by page. Read more about meta tags here. Take the initiative to add your website url to Google and Alta Vista. Check Google out here and AltaVista here . Get other *relevant sites to link to your site and/or certain pages. In return you can link to their sites and it will help both sites. Add image tags to your pictures. For example if someone searches for a doctor, the image tag will match up keywords and they will be directed to your facilitie's site. To add a tag for IE, you simply add <IMG alt="hospital"> and for FireFox you simply add <IMG name="hospital">. You can add both tags and it will not effect the other, and you add these attributes in the source code of your page. Update your site as often as possible, Google will crawl the site more often and your results can improve. What should the Internet services Team help me with?
